Complimentary parking for up to two vehicles is available in the main guest car park. Prior to arrival, we will email your parking confirmation — please print and display this in your vehicle during your stay for ease of identification.
Sunray Cottage enjoys a private garden that wraps around three sides of the property, creating a secluded space to relax and unwind. The garden is fully enclosed with gated access, making it ideal for families and those bringing dogs.
The upper terrace features the Scandinavian wood-fired hot tub, perfectly positioned for easy access directly from the lounge — ideal for relaxing soaks throughout the day or under the stars in the evening.
A second, smaller terrace can be accessed from the kitchen, providing a convenient outdoor space for morning coffee.
There is also outdoor seating for up to six guests, perfect for relaxed al fresco dining.
The cottage garden sits alongside the grounds of The Sunray, with the nearby pub terrace adding to the welcoming atmosphere of the setting while the cottage’s layout and enclosed garden help maintain a sense of privacy for guests.
We know that for many guests, a holiday wouldn’t feel complete without their four-legged companion. Well-behaved dogs are warmly welcomed at The Sunray in selected pet-friendly cottages, with a maximum of two dogs per stay. A small per-pet supplement applies and can be added when you book.
To help ensure a comfortable stay for all guests — both human and canine — we kindly ask that the following guidelines are observed:
The Sunray is a peaceful setting enjoyed by many guests, so if we reasonably believe a pet is causing disturbance, damage or risk to others, we may ask for the dog to be removed from the property.

The pub sits at the centre of the site, so after a coastal adventure, a long walk, or on evenings when you’d rather not cook, you’re only a short stroll from a delicious meal. No need to get in the car or make plans — just wander over whenever it suits you and enjoy.
